Please read these terms carefully before booking any trip with Desi Discoveries.
Full payment for the trip must be completed before departure. Pending payments may lead to cancellation of the booking.
Valid Government ID is mandatory for boarding. All guests must carry a valid Government ID card throughout the trip. No one will be allowed to travel without a valid ID.
Participants must be at least 18 years of age (or accompanied by a parent/guardian). Our tours involve tough terrain, trekking, and camping at high altitudes. By booking, the traveler self-declares that they are in good physical and mental health, and do not suffer from medical conditions (like severe asthma, heart issues, etc.) that could endanger them at high altitudes. Desi Discoveries will not be liable for any health complications or medical emergencies during the tour.
Desi Discoveries reserves the right to use photos, videos, or reels taken during the trip featuring the participants for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes. If a traveler prefers not to be featured, they must inform the Trip Captain before the tour begins.
In case of any legal disputes, claims, or disagreements, the matter will strictly be subject to Delhi Jurisdiction only.
No refunds will be given for any inclusions that the traveler does not avail (e.g., meals, activities, stays, or sightseeing).
Travelers are solely responsible for their luggage and personal belongings. Desi Discoveries will not be liable for any loss, theft, or damage to the traveler's personal goods.
Drinking alcohol and smoking are strictly prohibited during the tour (especially during transit and trekking) due to health, safety, and high-altitude concerns. Misconduct or indiscipline will not be tolerated.
Only booked campers staying with Desi Discoveries are allowed in the campsite area. If you wish to bring outside guests, you must inform us in advance. Desi Discoveries is not responsible for your safety or whereabouts if you go outside the campsite or group area without informing the team.
Any damage or loss caused by a traveler to camp property or vehicles (tents, mats, pillows, mattresses, lights, speakers, etc.) will be charged at full MRP at the location.
AC in vehicles will be turned off in hilly terrain. The driver or Trip Captain may switch the AC off at any time, as safety on uneven and dangerous routes is the top priority. In case of a vehicle breakdown, travelers may have to wait for repairs. No backup vehicle guarantee is provided.
Please follow the itinerary strictly. Due to weather, traffic, road conditions, or the physical condition of participants, the itinerary may be changed or shortened. We reserve the right to make necessary schedule changes on the spot for everyone's safety and comfort. Any extra activities or deviations requested by travelers on the spot will be chargeable extra.
We will not be responsible for delays reaching the destination due to traffic, route changes, or other external issues. Sightseeing or activities may be cancelled or shortened if we reach a destination late.
We do not provide travel insurance for sickness, accidents, theft, or other losses. We strongly recommend that travelers buy separate travel insurance before joining.
Travel batches will be confirmed only if the minimum number of participants is met, or as otherwise decided by the company.
