Bir Billing is famous worldwide as the paragliding capital of India. The take-off point at Billing and the landing zone in Bir create a legendary glide over the Kangra Valley that will leave you absolutely speechless. But Bir offers so much more than just a flight.
Embark on a guided trek to a hidden waterfall, explore the profound serenity of Chokling Monastery and the Stupas, and immerse yourself in the vibrant Tibetan culture. With evening bonfires and a clear Himalayan sky, this 1-Night/2-Day adventure is the perfect weekend reset.
We will gather and report at Majnu Ka Tilla around 6:30 PM and meet the trip leader. Depart for Bir around 7:30 PM in the evening by bus/traveler. Enjoy a comfortable overnight journey from Delhi to Bir.
Reach Bir in the morning and check in at your stay. Take a little rest, and after that, head out for local Bir sightseeing including Chokling Monastery and the Stupa. Trek to the famous Bangoru Waterfall, also known as the Hidden Waterfall. Visit the Bir local market for shopping and explore cafes for some proper Tibetan cuisine. Return back to the stay to refresh yourself, and enjoy a bonfire with music and dinner at night.
Wake up early morning, have breakfast, and set yourself up for the flight of your life! Start your journey up to Billing for paragliding. Land back in Bir by the afternoon. Chill at the cafes or enjoy cycling if time permits (cycling not included in package). Board the vehicle by early evening and reach Delhi the next day early morning.
